Senior Insurance Analyst

Tony has over 25 years' experience working within the world of insurance, having previously spent several years at an insurance broker and a financial services company.

Since joining MSE in 2011, he has been the doorkeeper for all things insurance, analysing insurance products, determining what is a good deal or policy, and assessing how to cut the cost – such as when the best time to buy your car or home insurance is. He has also provided comments which have appeared in the National Geographic Traveller UK magazine, The Independent, the Daily Mail and Ideal Home.

In his free time, he generally accompanies his three boys to various football matches to either play or referee matches (now that he is a retired FA football coach) – and generally tries to spend as much time as possible with his family.

During Tony's time at MSE, he has been nominated in the Best Digital or Broadcast Award category at the British Insurance Brokers' Association Awards (in 2023) and has collected the Organisation of the Year Award on behalf of MSE at the Protection Review Awards (in 2018).
