Haris Armstrong

Deals Writer and Researcher

Haris joined MSE in November 2025 with an NCTJ-accredited MA in News Journalism from Cardiff University. Starting out as an Editorial Intern, he spent his first year gaining experience across MSE's Optimisation, Money Products and News teams, writing and updating guides and covering everything from credit cards to the latest consumer news.

He's now found a more permanent home on the MSE Deals team, where he hunts down bargains, freebies and exclusive offers, helping readers separate the genuinely good deals from those that aren't quite what they seem.

When not at work, Haris spends his time watching his beloved Crystal Palace lose up and down the country (and now in Europe too!).
