Do not throw out letters from Barclaycard and double-check statements as the credit card company has admitted it's refunding MORE customers after MoneySavingExpert.com first revealed a mystery redress scheme set up by the firm to correct historic overcharging. And some people have got back over £1,200.

Don't bin post from Barclaycard as it's sending cheques worth up to £300 to both former and existing credit card customers, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal. It's refunding wrongly charged interest and fees from before 2019 by cheque or transfer to customers on repayment plans. The credit card company tells us the average payout's around £70 but we've seen one MoneySaver get £300 back.

Shoppers have just one week to go before Amazon stops accepting Visa credit cards to purchase items on 19 January. However, those with a Visa credit card set as their default payment, or those who only have a Visa credit card in their Amazon wallet, may be able to get a free £10 or £20 account credit if they update their details now.

Sainsbury’s Bank has apologised after credit card customers were charged late payment fees despite making their monthly payments on time. Sainsbury’s says affected customers will be refunded automatically but it is worth checking to see if you’ve been wrongly charged and contacting the bank if you don't hear anything.

Lloyds Bank has launched a new credit card that enables holders to earn 0.25% cashback on up to £4,000 of annual spending and 0.5% above, with no cap on how much you can earn. M&S Bank has launched a new rewards scheme for its credit card holders called 'Club Rewards'. Once you're a member you can earn extra loyalty points, money-off M&S vouchers, free next day delivery and more. But you have to pay a pricey £10/mth fee, which means it's only worth it if you'll use the shopping vouchers or spend over £2,000/yr at the retailer - plus, you could earn more with other cashback cards.
