When you spend £12. For Soul Club members

If you're signed up to Wagamama's loyalty scheme, Soul Club, you can get a free portion of gyoza (normally around £8.80) for your birthday when you spend £12 on food and drink.

To qualify, you'll need to have earned at least one stamp in the Soul Club app either via Deliveroo, click & collect or when dining in during the past six months. In other words, you can't be a 'passive' member of the app, you'll need to have eaten at Wagamama's and had your Soul Club app scanned at least once to get a stamp.

The free gyoza must been redeemed within 30 days. If more than one portion of gyoza is on your final bill, the most expensive gyoza will be deducted.

Sunday to Thursday

Via Blue Light Card. Valid for tables up to six people

Wagamama discounts are rare, but Blue Light Card holders can get 20% off the total bill at Wagamama (find your nearest) for tables up to six people, on Sunday to Thursday only (excludes Friday and Saturday).

To get the code, you need to hold a Blue Light Card (£4.99 for two years – see more info), and generate the code from its website or via the app.

You can get the discount at all Wagamama restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales, excluding at airports. As is often the case, you can't combine this offer with any other discount.

Sunday to Thursday

Via Student Beans

Students can get 20% off food and drink at Wagamama (find your nearest) on Sundays to Thursdays.

To get this offer, you'll need to register or log into the Student Beans app (available on Apple and Android) and show your unique 'Beans ID' to staff when ordering.

The offer is available Sunday to Thursday when dining in. It's valid at all Wagamama restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales, except for airport locations.

The 20% off can't be used with any other offer, and excludes takeaway.

See our Restaurants Deals page for more offers like this.

Wagamama 25% off entire bill with proof of 2025 exam results

You'll also need to be a Soul Club member (free to join)

If you're picking up your exam results this month you can celebrate with 25% off your entire bill at most Wagamama restaurants (find your nearest) – you must be signed up to its free loyalty scheme, Soul Club, to qualify for the discount.

To get the deal, simply take proof of your 2025 results (email or paper version) to a Wagamama restaurant and show to a member of staff during the following dates:

  • A-Level results: Thursday 14 to Wednesday 20 August

  • GCSE results: Thursday 21 to Wednesday 27 August

Although not a freebie, this is a strong deal as the 25% off applies to both food and drink, and you've a week to claim it, rather than just one day. There's no minimum spend, and it's valid at all restaurants except for airport locations.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
