When dining with a parent who successfully answers one GCSE-style question

If you're picking up your GCSE results this week you can claim a free main meal or glass of fizz at Ask Italian restaurants (find your nearest) when dining with a parent or guardian. However, there is a bizarre catch – what you get depends on whether your parent/guardian successfully answers an exam-style question.

How does it work?

Parents or guardians may choose one exam-style question from maths, English, or science. If they answer correctly, your main meal will be free. If they answer incorrectly, they can claim a free glass of fizz instead (or a non-alcoholic alternative such as Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero or Sprite).

One free main meal can be redeemed per eligible student presenting a valid official exam results slip, and you must purchase at least one other main to qualify.

You can get the deal on various dates depending on your location and exams:

This offer is valid for dine-in only and cannot be redeemed against takeaway or click & collect orders, nor can it be used alongside any other Ask Italian offer, discount, promotion or third-party partner discount.

When you show 2026 exam results and purchase a main

If you're picking up your GCSE results this week, you can claim a free portion of sticky chicken (normally £16.95) when dining in at Giggling Squid restaurants (find your nearest).

To get the deal, you'll need to purchase a main meal and show proof of your 2026 results to staff before ordering (either via paper slip, email or app).

Here's when you can claim the deal:

• GCSE students: Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 August

This offer is limited to one free portion per student, claimable once during the relevant dates. This is valid for dine-in only, and won't work for takeaway, click & collect or Deliveroo orders. It cannot be used alongside any other offer, discount, voucher, set menu or loyalty reward.

When you purchase a main meal and show proof of graduation or results

If you're a 2026 graduate or picking up your A-Level, GCSE or Highers results this summer, you can claim a free drink when dining in and ordering a main meal at Prezzo restaurants (find your nearest).

To claim, show proof of 2026 graduation or exam results to staff and order a main meal. Additionally, you'll need to show proof of age too if you wish to redeem a free alcoholic drink. This deal is available all day, every day until Friday 4 December (so there's no need to rush out specifically on results day).

The free drink includes all regular soft drinks (normally from £3.75), house wine (175ml), pint or bottle of Poretti (330ml) and cocktails (normally £8.75). Students celebrating in Scotland can only get a regular soft drink. Please be Drinkaware.

If multiple drinks are on the bill, the cheapest one will be free. This offer is valid for up to 12 people per bill. It's valid with all mains ordered from the A la Carte, Specials and Celebration Menus.

The offer is not available at Euston, Glasshouse Street, St Martin’s Lane, Victoria, Kensington and Northumberland Avenue, nor can it be used at Cardiff, Bath, Milton Keynes, Cheltenham, Manchester Media City, York Clifford Street, or Leeds The Light during major regional or local events. It's not available on a Saturday at Cardiff, Lakeside, Bristol, Cambridge, Stevenage LP, or Chelmsford.
