Dine-in and collection

Maximum £4 discount on orders up to £20 when dining in or walk-in collections only

If you work for the NHS, police, fire or ambulance service you can get 20% off food and drink orders up to £20 at Nando's (find your nearest).

If you're dining in, you'll just need to show a valid photocard ID when you order and you can use the discount once per day. If you're with a group and want to give others the discount too, you'll need to put everyone's meals on the same order, but remember the 20% off only works up to £20 – any orders over £20 won't get the maximum £4 discount.

If you don't fancy dining in, you can get the 20% off if you order for collection, too – Peri nice! NHS staff can do this online when you register at Nando's and then apply the discount when you order. You'll need to verify your NHS email address every six months. Those working for the emergency services can only get the offer on walk-in collections, and can't currently order online for collection

It rarely does deals but we've a list of ways to help you save

Nando's is a tough restaurant to find discounts for. Luckily, there are ways to work around the menu and get some money off your chicken and chips.

Nando's 'free' quarter chicken or starter on GCSE exam results day

Show 2025 results when spending £7 or more

If you're picking up your GCSE exam results in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can celebrate at Nando's with a 'free' quarter chicken or starter (the cheapest starter costs £3.95, while a quarter chicken is £5.50).

To get the deal, simply take your GCSE results (email or paper version) to any Nando's restaurant on Thursday 21 August and you'll get the freebie when you spend at least £7 on other food and drinks. This will only work if you're ordering in person (for eat-in or walk-in collect) – you can't get the deal if you're ordering online.

You can only claim your freebie on results day, and the person collecting the results has to be the one claiming. If there's a group of you collecting exam results, you’ll each need to spend £7 or more on separate bills to all get the freebie. This offer can't be used alongside any other discount, and excludes 'Dare to Share' menu options.

Nando's 20% off for 12-18 year olds

Maximum £4 discount on orders up to £20 when dining in or walk-in collections only

If you're aged 12-18 years old, you get 20% off food and drink orders up to £20 at Nando's (find your nearest) during the summer holidays.

This offer runs all day Monday to Thursdays only in all UK and Ireland restaurants until Sunday 31 August. Nando’s recommends those claiming the offer carry ID to prove their age. The 20% off only works up to £20 – so the maximum discount is £4.

It can only be used when dining in or for collect orders via the till, but isn’t available using 'order and pay at table' or for delivery. The discount won't apply to alcohol, Nandino or grocery products. It can't be used for the breakfast menu at Nando’s Gatwick.

While you can't use this alongside any other discount, you can still earn 'Chillies' (Nando's rewards points) with this deal.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.

If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links.
