Hundreds of thousands of taxpayers who have moved home over the past few years must tell the taxman or risk missing out on a rebate that could be worth hundreds of pounds .
A whopping 1.4 million taxpayers will be asked to pay an average £1,400 back because they've been charged too little tax after an HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) blunder.
Many of the nearly six million people who paid too much or too little income tax will find out today whether they are due a rebate or have to make additional payments.
