Ryanair has made a dramatic U-turn in the row over passenger welfare by saying it WILL comply with EU rules which mean it must provide food and accommodation to stranded travellers.
The pound is still at low rates against the Euro (£1 = €1.11) and the US Dollar (£1 = $1.50) and pundits predict it isn't going to get much better, though of course that's no guarantee.
The Government will finally crackdown on airline booking sites that flout European rules by automatically adding insurance and other optional costs to travel arrangements.
