Lloyds Bank is the worst of the major banks and building societies for wrongly rejecting both payment protection insurance (PPI) and other banking complaints, new figures from the Financial Ombudsman Service show.

If you're one of the two million flogged worthless card protection by Affinion (often branded Sentinel), keep an eye on the post as the last of the letters informing customers about a redress scheme are due to be sent out – these aren't spam so don't throw them away.

If you're one of the two million flogged worthless card security insurance to cover fraudulent credit card use by Affinion (often branded Sentinel), you may be entitled to £100s back under a massive redress scheme launched today. But it'll only happen if enough mis-selling victims vote for it.

The euro has weakened even further over the past week. It now sits at a paltry £1 buying €1.33 at the spot rate (and £1 buys €1.33 at the best travel money rate too). This would've been unthinkable last year when you'd have done well to get €1.20 and two years ago when €1.15 would've been worth whooping about.
