About two million existing and former Affinion – often branded Sentinel – customers are set to get a refund for mis-sold card protection after a redress scheme was today given the green light.
A creditors meeting to decide whether a compensation scheme for those mis-sold card security insurance from Affinion/Sentinel takes place at 12pm in London today. If you missed the postal vote deadline, this is your last chance to have your say.
The UK banking regulator has fined Lloyds Banking Group a record £117 million for its failings and 'unacceptable' conduct in handling claims over payment protection insurance (PPI).
American Express (Amex) customers who currently have, or have had, its My Essentials and Back on Track policies with additional card protection in the past, will be refunded the premiums paid for the worthless add-on cover.
