The new plastic £10 note enters circulation today – and will be the first British banknote to feature raised dots for blind and partially sighted people.

Anyone with a £50 note should check now if it's an old edition, as you won't be able to spend it from 1 May.

The Bank of England has today released a new £50 note, which contains a thread with 'moving images' as a security feature (pictured, right).

The Bank of England says it is committed to ensuring more ATMs dispense £5 notes.

A new 20p coin could be worth at least £50 if there’s no year printed on it. Some estimates suggest these coins could be worth £300.
