Substantial numbers of bounce back loan applicants suffer delays, rejections and credit checks, a MoneySavingExpert.com survey of more than 5,000 small business applicants has found. While lenders such as Lloyds and RBS performed well with most people rating them great, far more HSBC and Tide applicants rated their experience as poor.

But the regulator now says it's working to lift its restrictions, and MSE founder Martin Lewis says there are signs those locked out may be able to access their money later this week.

Transport for London (TfL) customers who applied online for season ticket refunds during the coronavirus pandemic and had already had a partial payment have now been sent additional rebates of about £70 on average. It should be paid automatically, but it's worth checking that it's come through if you're owed – and some may need to log in to their account to get the refund paid as cash.
