Tails.com one-month supply of tailored dog food for £3.60 (instead of typical £36)*
Via 90% off code, plus 35% off your second box
If you're new to tailored dog food company Tails.com* you can get 90% off your first box, and 35% off your second, when you enter the MSE Blagged code EXPERT90 at the checkout by 11.59pm on Tuesday 21 January.
The code works on meals for one dog, including dry food, wet food and treats. As it's 'tailored' food, the price and portion size of the box will be different for each dog – see how it worked for us. Each box of dog food will last for one month and your first box includes a portion scoop.
Delivery's free for most, but if you live in Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands or the Isle of Man it's £2.99 – see full Tails.com delivery info*.
Important: You'll be enrolled into a cancellable monthly subscription. After the first two months, boxes will be charged at full-price unless you pause or cancel. You can do this any time (including within the first month) from your Tails.com account if you don't want to continue with it, and you won't be charged for further deliveries. If you decide to get the second box, the discount for it will be automatically applied when the next payment is taken.
How Tails.com works
Give it some basic info about your pooch, including age, breed and any medical or dietary requirements they have. You can then choose if you'd like wet or dry food, if your dog has any preferred flavours and if you'd like any treats included. The cost per month depends on the particular recipe for your dog – see more on Tails.com pricing.
We tested it with one of our MSE dogs and Tails.com gave us 3.5kg of tailored dry food for £2.02 (normally £20.15) and 16 150g wet food portions for £1.20 (normally £11.20) – a total of £3.22 for the first box using our code (normally £31.35). At supermarkets, we found 2-3kg bags of dry dog food from well-known brands for about £8 and 16 lots of 150g wet food packs for about £10, so roughly £18 in total, though obviously recipes and nutritional value differ.

MoneySaver Betty got all of this for £3.89. Her MoneySaving pooch, Corby, approves.
Exclusions
The code won't work on toys or seasonal items and there's a maximum discount of £75 (Tails.com T&Cs* has full info), though most won't be bothered by that maximum, with the average monthly price of food being about £36.

Via 90% off code, plus 30% off your second box
If you're new to online tailored dog food company Tails.com* you can get 90% off your first box, and 30% off your second box, when you enter the MSE Blagged code SAVING at the checkout. The offer's on until 11.59pm on Thursday 29 February and it's valid for meals for one dog.
The code works on dry food, wet food and treats. The way it works is that you tell it information about your dog (breed, size etc) and it tailors the food you order. This means the price and portion size of your box will be different for each dog – see more info below for how it worked for us. Each box of dog food will last for one month and your first box includes a portion scoop.

Important: When you complete your order, you'll be automatically enrolled into a monthly subscription service and after the first and second month, boxes will be charged at full-price. However, you can pause or cancel this at any time (including within the first month) from your Tails.com online account if you don't want to continue with it, and you won't be charged for further deliveries.

How does Tails.com work?
Tails.com offers 'tailored' dog food, based on some basic information you enter about your pooch, including age, breed and any medical or dietary requirements they have. You can then choose if you'd like wet or dry food, if your dog has any preferred flavours and if you'd like any treats included.
Your dog's unique recipe is then created and you can see a detailed breakdown of what's included and the different nutritional benefits. You can go back and edit the information about your dog before you buy anything.
There's not one set price for how much the food costs per month, as this depends on the particular recipe for your dog. You can find out more on its pricing information page.
