If you go online to book publisher Oxford University Press (OUP), you can get 10% off 1,000s of digital university textbooks with the code STUDENT10.

The code will only work on e-books on the Oxford University Press Higher Education site. This is an on-going deal with no end date. The code isn't limited to one use either, so you can use it as many times as you like.

The range of included titles will be more specific to textbooks that are on the Higher Education part of its site, in other words, books that a lecturer would recommend for a course.

It's worth noting that OUP is a platform where you can buy e-books. You won't be able to read them on its website. Instead, once you've purchased a book via OUP, you can read it on the VitalSource Bookshelf. You'll need to create an account to access your book on the VitalSource Bookshelf. 

How to claim this discount

Unlike other discount codes, you'll need to enter this one before the checkout. So, once you've found the e-book you want to purchase, you then need to choose a period of time you want access it for. This can be 180-days (roughly six months), 12-months or you can buy to keep forever. 

The shorter amount of time you want to buy the book for (such as 180-days), the cheaper it is. This could be a good way of accessing digital textbooks you'll only need for one module or one term for example, saving you money in the long term compared to buying the e-book to keep forever.

• 180-day access – £26.09 with 10% code applied (was £28.99 before)

• 12-month access – £30.11 with 10% code applied (was £33.45 before)

• Lifetime access – £40.14 with 10% code applied (was £44.60 before)
