Here's a tree-mendous deal... Kew Gardens is running a promotion where you can get adult tickets for £10 when you visit on a Tuesday until 29 December, including the October half-term. Tickets for children aged four to 15 cost £2.

Kew Gardens is open from 10am. It closes at 7pm until 30 September, then 6pm from 1 to 24 October, then 4pm from 25 October to 11 November, and then 3.15pm from 12 November. Last entry is usually one hour before closing.

How do I book? Go to the Kew Gardens website, select ‘book your visit’ and make sure to pick a Tuesday.

How good is this deal? This is a decent saving, especially because it’s valid all day. The cheapest price we spotted for an all-day ticket on other days is £25. Those aged 16 to 29 can get £10 tickets year-round outside of this promotion, so it mainly benefits those aged 30 and above.

Until Wednesday 30 September, Kew also offers £10 tickets after 4pm on any day (including weekends).

What’s at Kew Gardens? Spread across 320 acres, there’s certainly a lot of ground to cover. Some highlights include its greenhouses, such as the Princess of Wales Conservatory and Palm House. Other attractions include the Rose Garden, Davies Alpine House, Children’s Garden, and an almighty fern collection.

Additionally, Kew Gardens offers heavily discounted admission rates for families receiving Universal Credit. You will need to provide proof of eligibility upon arrival, but tickets start from just £1 per person.

On weekdays Kew Gardens is open until 7pm, and until 8pm on weekends, with last entry allowed one hour before close.

You can get £10 tickets for adults, students and young people – except for four to 15-year-olds – entry for them costs £2 with this deal.

While you’ll only get up to four hours at Kew Gardens with your afternoon ticket (and some attractions such as the Great Pagoda are closed after 4pm), you could visit two times for the price of one full-day ticket and still have change.

Young people aged between 16 to 29 can get £10 tickets year-round outside of this promotion.
