Travel & Days Out
It's no secret the prices at airports are sky-high, but are you being ripped off before you even get there when buying toiletries to take with you on holiday?

Food & Drink Deals
These days, pick & mix tends to be sold in cups at a fixed price rather than weighed out in a bag - so you pay the same no matter how tightly you pack the sweet treats inside. Yet for traditionalists, there's usually an option to pay 'per 100g', which I think begs the question: where are the weighing scales?

Littlewoods and Very.co.uk are both essentially online 'department stores' and they're owned by the same parent company, Shop Direct. The two sites look very similar, and while the product ranges aren't always identical, there's a lot of crossover. So you can surely buy from either and it makes no difference… right? WRONG!

You find a pair of jeans, they're in your size and they're cheap... just one problem – the colour’s all wrong. I had this recently with a pair of white jeans (I wanted black) in my size, reduced from £26 to £5 in the Dorothy Perkins sale. What was I to do?

If you live near a couple of the same restaurant chain, believe it or not, you could pay as much as 38% extra for the same food from the same chain, compared with another branch less than half a mile away. Yet this is only based on the small sample I've been looking at recently, so there could be even bigger savings out there...

Travel & Days Out
I don’t know about you, but I’m already thinking about my holidays for 2019 and where I could jet off to. Luckily for me, and anyone else who works Mon-Fri, there’s a way to get a massive 18 days off in a row this year – for just nine days’ annual leave.

With the return of The Great British Bake Off last week, many have been bitten by the baking bug - whether that's making cakes or just eating them. Yet baking can often become quite expensive once you start looking at all the ingredients you'll need.
