Many Boxing Day/January sales have launched, and we'll be rounding up the best among the biggies over the next few weeks. We'll let you know if they’re likely to boost their discounts, or have already.
Below is our analysis of what's on – but don’t forget independent stores too (which we don’t have the resources to cover). Before spending, ask yourself, do I need it? Can I afford it? If the answer's no to either, DON’T buy it.

Flight sales
Eg, London to Antigua £375 return
Website: British Airways
Start date: Wednesday 17 December
End date: Tuesday 27 January
Sale strength: In comparison to its recent Black Friday sale, return fares between the UK and destinations in America (including New York and Los Angeles) are ever so slightly cheaper.
Similarly, its weekend European city breaks to Barcelona, Nice and Venice, which are priced at £159 per person, cost the same as its Black Friday sale. The sale only includes flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and London City airports, so no regional hubs.
British Airways says "advertised flight and holiday sale fares are discounted from the lowest price available in the 42 days before 17 December 2025". Flights and holidays are dynamically priced based on availability, which means discounts on fares and packages can fluctuate, so if there's a flight you're after, use tools such as Skyscanner and Google Flights to track prices. See our guide on how to find cheap flights for tips.
The January sale does include more long-haul destinations, such as Antigua, St Kitts and Kingston, compared to its Black Friday sale. The airline also has seven-night beach holiday packages to Malaga, Malta, and Mallorca from £299 per person.
Likely to boost? British Airways expanded the scope of its Black Friday sale after Cyber Monday to include economy fares to Europe, so the same could happen in its January sale. Currently, the sale only includes business class fares to Europe.
Here are some examples of deals we spotted on Monday 29 December:
-
London Heathrow to Boston - from £373 return in January, February and March
-
London Heathrow to New York - from £373 return in January, February and March
-
London Gatwick to Antigua - from £375 return in February and March
-
London Gatwick to Cancun - from £467 return in March
Via a code. Plus up to 20% off flights
Website: Easyjet
Start date: Friday 19 December
End date: Tuesday 3 March
Sale strength: Easyjet launched its 'Big Orange Sale' on Friday 19 December, with the operator offering up to £400 off a package holiday using the code BIGSALE at checkout.
You can save £400 on a minimum spend of £4,000, £300 on a minimum spend of £3,000, £150 on a minimum spend of £1,500, £100 on a minimum spend of £800, and £50 on a minimum spend of £500. This is very similar to its Black Friday sale, which saw holidaymakers able to save up to £200 on bookings of £2,000 or more.
The discount is valid on holidays booked before 11pm on 3 March 2026 for travel between now and 31 October 2027.
Easyjet has also launched 'up to 20% off' flights, for departures between 5 January and 13 December 2026. The timeframe of this discount extends beyond its Black Friday offering, which only had deals on flights up to 22 March 2026.
Likely to boost? Unlikely
Any other ways to save on flights this winter? Yes, British Airways, Jet2, TUI and Virgin Atlantic have also kicked off their sales. More companies are bound to join in on the discounts, so if you miss out on this one, there'll be another round the corner.
Flights and holidays are dynamically priced based on availability, which means discounts on fares and packages can fluctuate, so if there's a flight you're after, use tools such as Skyscanner and Google Flights to track prices.

Plus 20% off flights
Website: Jet2
Start date: Friday 19 December
End date: 31 December
Sale strength: This sale is very similar to its Black Friday offering. Jet2 is giving £100 off per person on all its holidays, including Jet2holidays, Jet2Villas, Jet2CityBreaks, VIBE by Jet2holidays and Indulgent Escapes by Jet2holidays. The deal is valid on all holidays from 7 October 2025 to 31 March 2027. There is no need for a code because the discount has already been applied. The deal is running until 31 December.
Those going away in summer 2026 can book a break with a deposit of £25 per person. This offer is valid until 11.59pm on Monday 12 January for bookings on holidays from 1 April to 31 October 2026. While a low deposit may sound enticing, it’s important to only book a holiday that you can afford – don’t get into debt to jet abroad.
Jet2 is also offering 20% off all flights departing up to 31 October 2027. This is the same percentage discount as its Black Friday sale. Jet2 flights include 10kg hand luggage allowance as standard.
Likely to boost? We think it’s unlikely to boost – although, we'll update here if it does.
Here are some examples we spotted on Monday 29 December:

-

No code needed
Website: Loveholidays
Start date: Thursday 18 December
End date: Sunday 8 February
Sale strength: Online tour operator Loveholidays has launched its winter sale, offering ‘up to £600 off’ selected deals. When we looked on Monday 29 December, we saw discounts range from £15 to £220.
According to Loveholidays, the £600 saving is based on holidays of over £2,000. The discounts are ‘based on a representative sample of holidays available at the time of advertising and are subject to availability and change,’ it says. Discounts have already been applied, so there’s no need for a code.
Here are some deals we spotted for August 2026:
-
Seven nights at Boston in Tuscany, Italy, room only, flights included – from £279 per person (was £314)
-
Seven nights at Colina Mar Apartments in Gran Canaria, Spain, room only, flights included – from £319 per person (was £348)
-
Seven nights at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, room only, flights included – from £659 per person (£286 below peak price)
You can book a holiday with a deposit starting from £19 per person, which is £6 cheaper than the deposit Jet2 has on offer in its sale. While a low deposit may sound enticing, it’s important to only book a holiday you can afford – don’t get into debt to jet abroad.
Packages with Loveholidays are ATOL protected. The tour operator also runs a ‘Best Price Promise’ too, which means if you find the same holiday at a lower price elsewhere, it says it'll refund the difference.
Any other ways to save on flights this winter? Yes, British Airways, Easyjet, Jet2, TUI and Virgin Atlantic have also kicked off their sales.
Flights and holidays are dynamically priced based on availability, which means discounts on fares and packages can fluctuate, so if there's a flight you're after, use tools such as Skyscanner and Google Flights to track prices.

You’ll need a free account to access the sale
Website: TUI
Start date: Friday 19 December
End date: We've asked TUI when the sale will end, and we'll update here when we know more
Sale strength: You can only access the sale if you have an account with TUI (it's free to sign up).
You can save 10% (up to £500) on the cost of a package holiday when using the code SALE at checkout. Holidays in the sale include summer 2026, winter 2026 and summer 2027.
The deal is broadly similar to its Black Friday offering where holidaymakers could save £100 when spending £1,000 or more, £200 when spending £2,500 or more, and £300 when spending £3,500 or more – although the 10% discount is slightly stronger.
In addition to this, you can save £200 on river cruises with TUI when spending £2,500 or £300 when spending £3,500 on sailings departing between 1 March 2026 and 31 October 2027. This isn’t as good as its Black Friday deal, which offered savings of up to £300 on bookings of £2,500 or more.
On Monday 22 December, TUI announced ‘savings of up to £300 per booking on selected sailings departing between 1 April 2026 and 30 April 2027’. Passengers can use the code SAILAWAY to save £300 on long-haul cruises and transatlantic cruises, or £200 on short and mid-haul cruises.
The sale is running alongside TUI’s free kids’ places, with one free child’s place available per two full-paying adults in selected hotels, apartments, and villas.
TUI also has its own discount page, so it’s worth checking throughout the year for more deals.
As ever with travel deals, it's important to keep in mind you'll have a better chance of snagging a cheaper fare if you're flexible on your travel times and dates. See our cheap flights guide for how to bag the best fares.
Here are some examples of deals we spotted when the sale launched:
-
Five nights at Hotel Rio Park in Benidorm, Spain - £429pp (was £497)
