Ask me how to save someone money and I can reel the answer off at speed. Yet when you’re on the telly you often have ‘quirky’ questions thrown at you and it’s never easy to try and come up with something that’s both a) true and b) interesting/entertaining. As I’ve recently had to do just this for the new ITV This Morning ‘on screen’ biogs section – I thought I’d let you try it, it isn’t easy…

As for my attempt, you can see the full profile on the This Morning presenters page, or below are my answers to those questions – YOU NEED TO HIGHLIGHT THE SECTION TO SEE THEM…
(I didn’t want to publish my answers straight away as it makes it more difficult to do your own having read someone else’s.)
I’m best known for: Getting just a tad worked up about my subject, and when people get ripped off.
The proudest moment of my career is: Getting the call from the Education Minister that after three years of campaigning and lobbying, the Government had agreed to put financial education on the curriculum and it would be announced the next day.
The first thing I do in the morning is: Get out of bed (my alarm is always set 13 minutes before I leave the house).
My favourite breakfast is: Huevos Rancheros – which is scrambled eggs, melting cheese, tomatoes, chillies, avocado and tortilla – but I usually just have museli.
The most famous person in my phonebook is: Hmmm… I don’t really do famous people, not my scene. However President Obama is in there. Want proof? His number is 001-202-456-1111. Then again, I did just grab it from the White House website’s ‘Call the president’ number.
The actor who would play me in a film about This Morning is: Zachary Quinto (but they’d have to play him at double speed).
My favourite memory from working on This Morning is: Meeting Alison Hammond on a plane, and having her hoist me up onto her knee as a flight attendant wanted to walk past. I sat there like a little naughty child.
If I wasn’t featuring on This Morning, I’d be: At home playing with my baby daughter (OK, that’s a lie, I’d be at my desk writing and researching ways to save money, but being with my little one is far more appealling).
You’d be surprised to learn that: I once had a top 40 hit single. Well I say I had it, it was a ‘featuring’ credit’, but it got in the charts. The song? I Fought The Lloyds – all about bank charges.
The one thing I couldn’t live without is: Playing Mrs MoneySavingExpert at Scrabble (my all-time average over the 968 games played is 406, hers is 367 – yes, I have a graph!)
