Recently we’ve heard that some of the weekly e-mails were being blocked by spam filters. Now this is nothing new; when you send out 3.7m emails a week, you constantly have to deal with random spam blocking, email clients’ (in)ability to receive and myriad other issues.
Yet this one ended up coming from an interesting source. At the footer of the email describing who I am it says “by ultra-specialised journalist”. And hidden within that is the word Cialis – the second most popular spammed drug brandname after Viagra.
A similar issue cropped up when naming a new tool we’re developing: the Budget Analyser.
