This weekend I went to the New Forest for a trip out. As a Smart car driver (see past blog ) I was surprised to see a number of the little cars in the countryside. More so when every driver started waving hello. Was there some secret code no one’s told me about?
Soon it got bizarre, every second car was a Smart? Eh? In the countryside? Next thing I’m passing the Beaulieu Motor Museum and see a big bright yellow sign saying “WELCOME TO SMARTMANIACS”.
Now I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or run away with the pants scared off me. I like my Smart, I’ve even got a name for her, but going to a convention….. no thanks! I enjoy watching Star Trek The Next Generation, but you’ll never see me in a Klingon costume.
