I’ve just got off the phone having put in a call to Carol Vorderman’s agent. As some will know I’m considering launching a campaign to ask Carol to back out of doing adverts for secured debts. I have to be honest with you - my heart was pounding as I made the call. As it happens her agent wasn’t there.
I’m a bit nervous about doing this. Normally my aim is to take on companies, not to discuss individuals and it does feel like it’s personal. However, it’s important that the normalisation of secured debts, via the use of credible celebrity endorsements is stopped, and I hope to play my wee part in it.
